# Who the leaflet excludes

The maker’s list has limits of its own.

A contraindication is a reason a medicine’s information says it must not be used.

## What the Russian leaflet says

The maker’s leaflet excludes pregnancy, breastfeeding, people under 18, and people who react badly to Selank.

It says use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and childhood was not tested for benefit or safety.

This is the maker’s list, not a complete set of possible reasons for harm.

## What U.S. medicine information is missing

There is no official U.S. Selank medicine leaflet reviewed by FDA. So there is no FDA-reviewed list of people who must not use it.

The absence of a longer list cannot tell you that other situations are safe.

## Make room for your circumstances

A care discussion can include pregnancy, plans for pregnancy, breastfeeding, prior reactions, and current medicines.
